Returns and refunds

In accordance with Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 and subsequent amendments, if the customer is a consumer (i.e. an individual purchasing goods for purposes not related to their professional activity), they have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without providing explanations and without penalties, subject to the conditions outlined below and with the exception of products containing diamonds. As provided by applicable consumer protection laws, the Customer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the date of delivery of the product. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the product has been delivered.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must inform Babilion of their decision by means of a clear statement. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to submit the withdrawal request by completing the “Contact Us” form before the 14-day period expires. Once the withdrawal request has been received, Babilion will promptly provide the Customer with instructions on how to return the product. If the Customer withdraws from the purchase contract, all payments made will be refunded using the same payment method used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Returned items must be unused, intact, complete with all their parts, and returned in their original packaging (including boxes and protective materials). Products must be handled with due care and must not show signs of wear, damage, or dirt. The right of withdrawal is subject to the following conditions:

the return must concern the entire product; partial returns are not accepted;
the product must be returned in its original packaging, complete with all accessories, documentation, and protective materials;
to avoid damage to the original packaging, we recommend placing it inside an external shipping box and sealing it securely; labels or adhesive tape must not be applied directly to the product’s original packaging;
return shipping costs will be covered by Babilion only in the case of defective or non-compliant products. In all other cases, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer and must be sent to the address provided following the return request;
the Customer is responsible for the shipment until the returned item is received and confirmed at our warehouse;
if the product is damaged during transport, Babilion will notify the Customer within 5 business days of receipt, allowing the Customer to file a claim with the selected carrier and request compensation (if insured). In this case, the withdrawal request will be cancelled and the product will be returned to the Customer;
Babilion is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft of returned items shipped without insurance;
upon receipt, all returned products will be inspected. If the original packaging is damaged, Babilion reserves the right to deduct a percentage of the refund, up to a maximum of 50%, to cover restoration or repackaging costs.

The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to private consumers and does not apply to companies or professional buyers (B2B transactions). It is also subject to the following limitations:

returned products must include the original warranty certificate and must not show signs of use that would affect their resale;
products that have been customized (including engravings, custom sizes, lengths, or other modifications requested by the Customer) are not eligible for return;
diamonds may only be returned in the event of proven defects, supported by appropriate evidence, due to the potential wear of such items during transport;
returns for unwanted products are not permitted if this option has already been used in a previous order;
if a returned product shows signs of use or is not in perfect condition, Babilion will assess any reduction in value on a case-by-case basis and inform the Customer of the refundable amount;
in accordance with applicable consumer regulations, the right of withdrawal does not apply to items with a purchase value of €50 or less.

The right of withdrawal will be forfeited if the returned product does not meet the essential condition of integrity (product and/or packaging), including in the following cases:

improper or careless use that compromises the product’s condition;
missing original outer or inner packaging;
missing components, accessories, manuals, or parts;
damage caused by factors other than transportation.

Babilion reserves the right to inspect all returned items before processing a refund and to refuse the return if the conditions outlined above are not met.

Refunds

Subject to any deductions for verified damage to the original packaging, Babilion will issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Shipping costs for the original delivery may be deducted from the refund if they were included in the amount paid by the Customer.

DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD PAYMENT

Our refund will be issued to your original payment card within five days of us receiving the returned item(s). However, some payment providers can take up to 14 days to credit your account. When the return is processed, we'll send you an email confirming your refund

PAYPAL PAYMENT

If you paid by PayPal and return your purchases via post or our courier service, your payment will be refunded to the same Paypal account.

KLARNA PAYMENT

If you paid for a purchase using Klarna, Klarna will adjust the payment schedule or issue a refund in case of an overpayment.

INTERNATIONAL TAX, DUTIES, CHARGES AND DELIVERY REFUNDS

Unfortunately, for orders shipped outside the UE, we’re unable to refund any taxes, duties, charges or delivery costs you may have paid when placing your order. You will be refunded the tax-free price of the products returned.
